St Margarets Refresh

This small garden in Twickenham had become a tired and dull, being dominated by large shrubs which had grown too big for the space. The clients wanted to brighten the garden with new planting and small design interventions to revitalise the space on a tight budget.

We added a new trellis and fragrant jasmine plants to conceal the shed. The clients were keen on the idea of a wildflower meadow but the conditions in this tiny space certainly weren’t ideal for this. Instead, we used bright and joyful flowering perennials and grasses including Rudbeckia and Erigeron to add colour to the space, achieving a similar look and feel.
